BARCLAY, MANKTELOW, MORINELLO -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. SALKA -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to standards for land clearing THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 378 of the executive law is amended by adding a new subdivision 19 to read as follows: 19. STANDARDS FOR LAND CLEARING REQUIRING THAT ANY PROPERTY BEING CLEARED OF DEBRIS AS DEFINED BY 6 NYCRR 360-1.2(B)(94) FOR THE PURPOSES OF COMMERCIAL OR RESIDENTIAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION BE DONE IN A MANNER THAT PROHIBITS THE BURYING OF TREES AND/OR STUMPS BENEATH THE SURFACE OF THE PROPERTY ITSELF. § 2.
