 AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to allowing  the
   Onondaga  county  water  authority to operate and maintain the town of
   Parish water system

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subdivision  24 of section 1154 of the public authorities
 law, as amended by chapter 166 of the laws of 2010, is amended  to  read
 as follows:
   24.  Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, to purchase,
 construct, lease and operate water systems and properties in  the  towns
 of Sullivan, Lenox, Lincoln, Volney, Verona, Vienna, Hannibal, Hastings,
 Minetto,  Schroeppel,  Scriba,  Oswego,  West Monroe, Annsville, Granby,
 Constantia, PARISH and Sterling to enter into any contract authorized by
 this section with any municipality within the territorial limits of said
 towns, and to supply and sell any water not  needed  in  the  county  of
 Onondaga  at  retail  or at wholesale to individual consumers within the
 territorial limits of said towns.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
