SAYEGH -- read once and referred to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to granting peace officer status to parking and code enforcement officers in the city of Yonkers THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2.10 of the criminal procedure law is amended by adding a new subdivision 85 to read as follows: 85. PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF YONKERS PARKING AUTHORITY PURSUANT TO TITLE ELEVEN OF ARTICLE SEVEN OF THE PUBLIC AUTHORITIES LAW AND CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BUREAU OF THE CITY OF YONKERS. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD11017-01-9
