CARROLL -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to requiring the metropolitan transportation authority to provide more detailed infor- mation to the public on its website THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1276-e of the public authorities law, as added by section 19 of part H of chapter 25 of the laws of 2009, is amended to read as follows: § 1276-e. Reporting. 1. The authority shall post on its website on or before the first of May, the law firms retained by the authority which in the past year received payment for services in such year. 2. THE AUTHORITY SHALL FURTHER POST MONTHLY STATISTICS ON SERVICE DISRUPTIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: DELINEATION OF PLANNED AND UNPLANNED DISRUPTIONS; LENGTH OF SERVICE DISRUPTIONS AND THE FREQUENCY OF DISRUPTIONS PER MONTH. 3. THE AUTHORITY SHALL CONDUCT A STUDY ON MAXIMUM CAPACITY AND CURRENT CAPACITY. SUCH STUDY SHALL DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN PLATFORM CAPACITY AND TRAIN CAPACITY. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
