 AN  ACT  to amend chapter 395 of the laws of 2008, amending the agricul-
   ture and markets law relating to  licensing  of  establishments  where
   animals  or  fowls  are  slaughtered, in relation to the effectiveness
   thereof

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 3 of chapter 395 of the laws of 2008, amending the
 agriculture and markets law  relating  to  licensing  of  establishments
 where animals or fowls are slaughtered, as amended by chapter 207 of the
 laws of 2016, is amended to read as follows:
   §  3.  This act shall take effect immediately; and shall expire and be
 deemed repealed August 5, [2020] 2024.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
