BILL NUMBER: S2969 SPONSOR: GRIFFO TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the transfer of a lifetime hunting license PURPOSE: To allow for the transfer of a lifetime hunting license if the holder dies before the age of twelve as well as allowing for the transfer to be made within three years of the death for such a situation. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Subdivision 1 of section 11-0704 amends the environmental conservation law by adding a second an additional premise that is if a person dies before the age of twelve the license can be transferred. Subdivision 6 section 11-0704 is amended to add that the transfer of the license must be made within three years of the child's death (as per the second prem-

GRIFFO, RITCHIE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the transfer of a lifetime hunting license THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 11-0704 of the environmental conservation law, as added by chapter 507 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows: 1. the person to whom such license and permit was issued: (A) dies within one year of the issuance date of such license and permit; OR (B) DIES BEFORE THE AGE OF TWELVE; and § 2. Subdivision 6 of section 11-0704 of the environmental conserva- tion law, as added by chapter 507 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows: 6.
