 Introduced  by Sen. MARTINEZ -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation
 
 AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to the applica-
   tion for registration of manufacturers, dealers, repairmen and others
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Subdivision 5 of section 415 of the vehicle and traffic law
 is amended by adding a new paragraph b-4 to read as follows:
   B-4. A CERTIFICATION FROM THE MUNICIPALITY WHERE THE BUSINESS IS TO BE
 CONDUCTED, INDICATING THAT THE BUSINESS IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE
 ZONING AND PLANNING REGULATIONS, FIRE REGULATIONS AND ZONING CODES.
   § 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2020.
