BURGOS -- read once and referred to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to requiring the New York state thruway authority to submit quarterly reports to the legislature of all purchases, procurements and expenditures related to contracts THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The public authorities law is amended by adding a new section 363-a to read as follows: § 363-A. QUARTERLY REPORT. THE AUTHORITY SHALL SUBMIT A DETAILED QUAR- TERLY REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR AND THE LEGISLATURE ON OR BEFORE THE DAY ENDING EACH FISCAL QUARTER SETTING FORTH ITS OPERATIONS, FISCAL TRANS- ACTIONS AND ALL PURCHASES, PROCUREMENTS AND EXPENDITURES ON ANY CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BY SUCH AUTHORITY DURING THE PRECEDING QUARTER FOR LEGISLA- TIVE OVERSIGHT. § 2.
