S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 4201 2021-2022 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y February 1, 2021 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. BLANKENBUSH -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT in relation to authorizing the town of Dekalb, in the county of St. Lawrence, to reduce the maximum speed limit on certain public roadways THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any general, special or local law or code to the contrary, the town board of the town of Dekalb in St. Lawrence county, may by local law, ordinance, order, rule or regulation establish maximum speed limits at not less than forty-five miles per hour along United States route eleven, beginning one quarter mile north of the United States route eleven and East Dekalb Road intersection and ending one quarter mile south of the entrance to the Hermon-DeKalb Central school athletic fields. ยง 2.
