SANTABARBARA -- read once and referred to the Committee on Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development AN ACT to require the state athletic commission to promulgate regu- lations for authorized combined professional and amateur mixed martial arts events THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. No later than June 30, 2021, the state athletic commission shall promulgate regulations governing the conduct of authorized combined professional and amateur mixed martial arts events. ยง 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD08435-01-1
