 AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to providing a  daily
   report  on unused COVID-19 vaccines; and to provide for the expiration
   and repeal of such provision upon the expiration thereof

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  2182 of the public health law is renumbered 2183
 and a new section 2182 is added to read as follows:
   § 2182. COVID-19 VACCINE REPORTING. BEGINNING THE DAY AFTER THE EFFEC-
 TIVE DATE OF THIS SECTION, THE DEPARTMENT SHALL  PREPARE  A  REPORT  AND
 POST  SUCH  REPORT ON THE DEPARTMENT'S WEBSITE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO
 ACCESS WHICH DETAILS THE NUMBER OF COVID-19 VACCINES  WHICH  ARE  UNUSED
 THROUGHOUT THE STATE. THE DEPARTMENT SHALL UPDATE SUCH REPORT DAILY.
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
 deemed repealed 1 year following the conclusion of  the  state  disaster
 emergency  declared  pursuant  to executive order 202, provided that the
 commissioner of  health  shall  notify  the  legislative  bill  drafting
 commission upon the occurrence of the conclusion of such executive order
 in  order that the commission may maintain an accurate and timely effec-
 tive data base of the official text of the laws of the state of New York
 in furtherance of effectuating the  provisions  of  section  44  of  the
 legislative law and section 70-b of the public officers law.
