ROZIC, GRIFFIN, EPSTEIN, DE LA ROSA, PAULIN, LUPARDO, SIMON, RAMOS -- read once and referred to the Committee on Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development AN ACT directing the commissioner of the office of parks, recreation and historic preservation to provide for the re-designation of Donald J. Trump State Park, in Putnam and Westchester counties to a name other than Donald J. Trump State Park THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The commissioner of the office parks, recreation and historic preservation shall provide for the re-designation of Donald J. Trump State Park, in Putnam and Westchester counties to a name other than Donald J. Trump State Park. The commissioner of the office of parks, recreation and historic preservation shall provide for the installation and maintenance of appropriate signage and any other admin- istrative actions necessary to implement the provisions of this act. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD03307-01-1

Trump State Park, in Putnam and Westchester counties, to determine whether the authority exists to change the name of such park. In the event it is determined that such legal authority exists, the commissioner shall notify the governor, the temporary president of the senate and the speaker of the assembly and shall change the name of such park. In the event the name of such park is changed, the office of parks, recreation and historic preservation shall provide for the installation and maintenance of appropriate signage and any other admin- istrative actions necessary to implement the name change and to improve the park for the enjoyment of the public. § 2.
