 AN ACT to amend the town  law,  in  relation  to  aquatic  plant  growth
   control districts
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Subdivision 10-e of section 198 of the town law,  as  added
 by chapter 602 of the laws of 1967, is amended to read as follows:
   10-e.  Aquatic  plant  growth control district. After an aquatic PLANT
 growth control district has been established, the town  board  may  take
 such  action  as  may  be required to adopt plans and specifications and
 enter into a contract or contracts, or take such other action as may  be
 required, for the control of aquatic PLANT growth AND FOR THE CONTROL OF
 AQUATIC  INVERTEBRATES CLASSIFIED AS INVASIVE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVI-
 RONMENTAL CONSERVATION within the district as it may deem to  be  neces-
 sary or desirable.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 ANY  WAY  REGULATES OR PERMITS THE APPLICATION OF PESTICIDES TO ANY LAND
 NOT OWNED BY THE TOWN OR TO OR IN SURFACE WATERS.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
