BARCLAY -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the transportation limit of common carp harvested from the waters of the state THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 11-1321 of the environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new subdivision 10 to read as follows: 10. NO PERSON SHALL TRANSPORT OVERLAND BY A MOTORIZED VEHICLE MORE THAN TEN LIVE COMMON CARP HARVESTED FROM THE WATERS OF THE STATE UNLESS SUCH TRANSPORT IS PURSUANT TO A PERMIT ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD11412-01-1
