JONES -- read once and referred to the Committee on Labor AN ACT to amend chapter 105 of the laws of 2019 amending the public health law and other laws relating to the application of the sanitary code to all farm and food processing labor camps for migrant workers, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 25 of chapter 105 of the laws of 2019 amending the public health law and other laws relating to the application of the sanitary code to all farm and food processing labor camps for migrant workers, is amended to read as follows: § 25. This act shall take effect January 1, 2020; provided, however that the provisions of section nine of this act shall take effect Janu- ary 1, [2021] 2022. § 2. This act shall take immediately and shall be deemed to have been in full force and effect on and after January 1, 2021. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD09085-01-1
