WEPRIN, DURSO, SEAWRIGHT, COLTON, HYNDMAN, BICHOTTE HERMELYN, J. RIVERA -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. COOK, SOLAGES -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to requiring all public secondary schools to provide the annual administration of the SAT during a school day THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The education law is amended by adding a new section 342-b to read as follows: § 342-B. SAT SCHOOL DAY ADMINISTRATION. EVERY PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL SHALL PROVIDE THE ANNUAL ADMINISTRATION OF THE SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE TEST TO ALL TEST SUBJECTS AT SUCH SCHOOL DURING A REGULAR SCHOOL DAY. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14179-01-1
