 AN ACT to amend chapter 60 of the laws of 2021, amending  the  education
   law  relating to absentee ballots for school district elections during
   a declared disaster emergency, in relation to the effectiveness there-
   of
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section 4 of chapter 60 of the laws of 2021, amending the
 education law relating to absentee ballots for school district elections
 during a declared disaster emergency, is amended to read as follows:
   § 4. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
 deemed repealed January 1, [2022] 2023.
   §  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
 have been in full force and effect on and after December 31, 2021.
