SCHMITT -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to adding Wawayanda Chan- nel to the definition of inland waterways for the purposes of water- front revitalization THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraphs (d) and (e) of subdivision 4 of section 911 of the executive law, as separately amended by chapters 273, 278 and 449 of the laws of 2019, are amended to read as follows: (d) THE STATE'S MAJOR CHANNELS COMPRISED OF THE WAWAYANDA CHANNEL LOCATED IN ORANGE COUNTY; (E) the Barge Canal System as defined in section two of the canal law; and [(e)] (F) the adjacent shorelands to the extent that such inland waters and adjacent lands are strongly influenced by each other including, but not limited to, islands, wetlands, beaches, dunes, barrier islands, cliffs, bluffs and erosion prone areas. § 2.
