BILL NUMBER: S3180 SPONSOR: MAY TITLE OF BILL: An act in relation to directing the state liquor authority to extend liquor licenses for on-premise alcohol retailers for a period of one year PURPOSE: AN ACT in relation to directing the state liquor authority to extend liquor licenses for on premise alcohol retailers for a period of one year. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1: The State Liquor Authority will extend all current liquor licenses for on-premise alcohol retailers through January 31,.2022 at no cost to the licensee. Furthermore, the licensee cannot be charged a late fee for this extension.

MAY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern- ment Operations AN ACT in relation to directing the state liquor authority to extend liquor licenses for on-premise alcohol retailers for a period of one year THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the state liquor authority shall extend all current liquor licenses for on-premise alcohol retailers through January 31, 2022. Such extension shall be given at no cost to the licensee and no late fees shall be charged to the licensee for such extension. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
