 Introduced  by  Sen. RITCHIE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Finance
 
 AN ACT to amend the state finance law, in relation to reimbursing school
   districts for the pandemic adjustment out of moneys in  the  New  York
   state campaign finance fund

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 92-t of the state finance law is amended by  adding
 a new subdivision 3-a to read as follows:
   3-A.  UP  TO ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS, OR SO MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE
 AVAILABLE OUT OF ANY MONEYS IN THE FUND  NOT  ATTRIBUTABLE  TO  THE  TAX
 CHECK-OFF  UNDER  SECTION  SIX  HUNDRED  THIRTY-H OF THE TAX LAW, MAY BE
 TRANSFERRED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF  REIMBURS-
 ING SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN AN AMOUNT UP TO THE PANDEMIC ADJUSTMENT COMPUTED
 FOR  SUCH  SCHOOL  DISTRICT  PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION NINETEEN OF SECTION
 THIRTY-SIX HUNDRED TWO OF THE EDUCATION LAW. MONEYS SHALL BE PAID OUT OF
 THE FUND BY THE STATE COMPTROLLER ON VOUCHERS CERTIFIED OR  APPROVED  BY
 THE COMMISSIONER OF EDUCATION, IN THE MANNER PRESCRIBED BY LAW.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
