LEVENBERG -- read once and referred to the Committee on Economic Development AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to providing the village of Ossining, Westchester county, with an exemption from restrictions on the hours of sale of alcoholic beverag- es at retail for on-premises consumption THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 106 of the alcoholic beverage control law is amended by adding a new subdivision 5-a to read as follows: 5-A. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION OF LAW, RULE OR REGULATION TO THE CONTRARY, THE PROVISIONS OF SUBDIVISION FIVE OF THIS SECTION SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE VILLAGE OF OSSINING, WESTCHESTER COUNTY. § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14856-01-4
