 AN ACT to amend part PP of chapter 58 of the laws of 2020  amending  the
   environmental  conservation  law relating to expanded polystyrene foam
   container and polystyrene loose fill packaging ban, and  amending  the
   state  finance  law relating to moneys collected for violations of the
   expanded polystyrene foam container and polystyrene loose fill packag-
   ing ban, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  4  of  part PP of chapter 58 of the laws of 2020
 amending the environmental conservation law relating to expanded  polys-
 tyrene  foam  container  and  polystyrene  loose fill packaging ban, and
 amending  the  state  finance  law  relating  to  moneys  collected  for
 violations  of  the  expanded polystyrene foam container and polystyrene
 loose fill packaging ban, is amended to read as follows:
   § 4. This act shall take effect  immediately;  provided  however  that
 subdivision  4  of section 71-2730 of the environmental conservation law
 as added by section two of this act shall expire and be deemed  repealed
 January 1, [2025] 2030.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
