Ramos) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Judiciary AN ACT to amend the civil practice law and rules, in relation to the proper form of exhibits THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Rule 2101 of the civil practice law and rules is amended by adding a new subdivision (h) to read as follows: (H) EXHIBITS. EVERY EXHIBIT SHALL BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED, BUT NO SPECIFIC METHOD OF LABELING SHALL BE REQUIRED. THE REJECTION OF ANY SUBMISSION SHALL NOT BE SOLELY BASED ON THE MISLABELING OF ANY EXHIBIT. ยง 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD08782-01-3
