CARROLL, SIMON -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. COOK -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to capital program plans THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraphs (b) and (c) of subdivision 1 of section 1269-b of the public authorities law, as added by chapter 637 of the laws of 1996, are amended and three new paragraphs (d), (e) and (f) are added to read as follows: (b) not later than ten days after the effective date of this paragraph the authority shall submit to the metropolitan transportation authority capital program review board two capital program plans for the five-year period commencing January first, nineteen hundred ninety-five; [and] (c) on or before October first, nineteen hundred ninety-nine and every fifth year thereafter, the authority shall submit to the metropolitan transportation authority capital program review board two capital program plans for the five-year period commencing January first of the following year[.]; (D) ON AND AFTER JANUARY FIRST, TWO THOUSAND TWENTY-FOUR, THE AUTHORI- TY SHALL SUBMIT TO THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY CAPITAL PROGRAM REVIEW BOARD ON OR BEFORE MAY FIRST, TWO THOUSAND TWENTY- FOUR TWO CAPITAL PROGRAM PLANS FOR THE FIVE-YEAR PERIOD COMMENCING JANUARY FIRST OF THE FOLLOWING YEAR; AND (E) ON AND AFTER JANUARY FIRST, TWO THOUSAND TWENTY-NINE, THE AUTHORI- TY SHALL SUBMIT TO THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY CAPITAL PROGRAM REVIEW BOARD ON OR BEFORE JANUARY THIRTY-FIRST, TWO THOUSAND TWENTY-NINE AND EVERY FIFTH YEAR THEREAFTER, TWO CAPITAL PROGRAM PLANS FOR THE FIVE-YEAR PERIOD COMMENCING JANUARY FIRST OF THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
