COLTON, JACKSON, SEAWRIGHT -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to prohibiting the use of pesticides containing Neonicotinoids THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 33-1301 of the environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new subdivision 13 to read as follows: 13. FOR ANY PERSON TO USE ANY PESTICIDE CONTAINING NEONICOTINOIDS ("NEONICS"), INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ACETAMIPRID, CLOTHIANIDIN, IMIDACLOPRID, NITENPYRAM, NITHIAZINE, AND THIACLOPRID. § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next suceeding the date opon which it shall have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD04189-01-3
