 AN ACT relating to providing public awareness of  novel  virus  programs
   and  resources;  and  providing for the repeal of such provisions upon
   expiration thereof
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  1.  No  later than sixty days after the effective date of
 this act, the secretary of state shall begin publishing a  comprehensive
 list  of  all  novel  virus  related programs and resources available to
 consumers, student loan  debtors,  senior  citizens,  small  businesses,
 renters and homeowners, which are implemented at the state level. There-
 after,  when  a  new  state-supported  novel  virus  related resource or
 program becomes available, the information required by this act  regard-
 ing  that program or resource shall be posted on the department of state
 website no later than seven days  after  it  becomes  available.    Such
 information,  including a summary or description of each such program or
 resource, shall be made available on a single webpage and shall  provide
 a  link to the internet site for each such program or resource if avail-
 able.
   2. For purposes of this act, "novel virus" means a virus or  bacterial
 strain that has not been previously identified in humans.
   ยง  2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December
 31, 2026 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be  deemed
 repealed.
