GALLAHAN -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development AN ACT to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in relation to requiring goods sold at retail at state parks, recreation- al facilities and historic sites to be produced or manufactured in the United States THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The parks, recreation and historic preservation law is amended by adding a new section 13.08 to read as follows: § 13.08 RETAIL GOODS PRODUCED IN THE UNITED STATES. ALL GOODS, EXCEPT FOODS AND FOOD PRODUCTS, SOLD AT RETAIL UPON THE PREMISES OF A STATE PARK, RECREATIONAL FACILITY OR HISTORIC SITE SHALL BE PRODUCED OR MANU- FACTURED IN THE UNITED STATES AS DETERMINED PURSUANT TO THE REGULATIONS OF THE COMMISSIONER OF GENERAL SERVICES. § 2. This act shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it shall have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD04953-01-3
