 AN  ACT  to amend the executive law, in relation to enacting the "online
   digital paperwork reduction act"
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1.  Short  title. This act shall be known and may be cited as
 the "online digital paperwork reduction act".
   § 2. The executive law is amended by adding a  new  section  170-g  to
 read as follows:
   §  170-G.   AVAILABILITY OF DOCUMENTS. EVERY STATE AGENCY IN THE STATE
 SHALL MAKE ITS ANNUAL REPORTS AND ALL OTHER PUBLIC  DOCUMENTS  AVAILABLE
 IN  A DIGITAL FORMAT ON ITS WEBSITE IN A MANNER THAT ALLOWS SUCH REPORTS
 AND DOCUMENTS TO BE PRINTED. AS USED IN THIS SECTION,  THE  TERM  "STATE
 AGENCY"  SHALL MEAN ANY DEPARTMENT, BOARD, BUREAU, COMMISSION, DIVISION,
 OFFICE, COUNCIL, COMMITTEE OR OFFICE OF  THE  STATE,  A  PUBLIC  BENEFIT
 CORPORATION OR PUBLIC AUTHORITY.
   §  3.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
 have become a law.

 AN ACT to amend the New York state printing and public documents law, in
   relation to requiring state agencies  to  make  available  all  public
   documents in a digital format on their website
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 12 of the New York state printing and public  docu-
 ments law is amended by adding a new subdivision 5 to read as follows:
   5.  EACH  STATE  AGENCY SHALL MAKE ALL PUBLIC DOCUMENTS, AS DEFINED IN
 THIS ARTICLE, AVAILABLE IN A DIGITAL FORMAT ON ITS WEBSITE IN  A  MANNER
 THAT  ALLOWS SUCH DOCUMENTS TO BE PRINTED.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL
 ANY DOCUMENT THAT IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL BE DEEMED  A
 PUBLIC DOCUMENT.
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
