PIROZZOLO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Employees AN ACT to authorize Anthony Pocchia to qualify for post-retirement health insurance benefits THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, Anthony Pocchia, a retiree of the New York state unified court system, and his dependents shall be permitted to apply all creditable service, including military service credit, in order to qualify for post-retire- ment health insurance in the New York state health insurance plan. § 2. Any unused sick time earned by Anthony Pocchia shall be used to offset the costs of the New York state health insurance plan chosen by Anthony Pocchia. § 3. The New York state department of civil service shall accept and process Anthony Pocchia's application for post-retirement health insur- ance benefits as if he retired upon date of receipt. § 4.
