 AN ACT to authorize the city of New York to reduce the interest  accrued
   on  certain  charges  assessed  on  real property located at 1690 60th
   Street in Brooklyn

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Notwithstanding section 11-232 and subdivision e of section
 17-151  of  the administrative code of the city of New York, the city of
 New York shall reduce the interest accrued on charges  assessed  by  the
 New  York City Department of Health for inspections, clean-ups, examina-
 tions and other services performed between January 21, 1997 and November
 9, 1999 which have since become a lien on real property currently desig-
 nated as tax block 05517, lot 0039, also known as 1690  60th  Street  in
 the borough of Brooklyn.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
