 AN ACT to amend the legislative law, in relation to requiring the tempo-
   rary  president  of  the  senate  and  the  speaker of the assembly to
   provide each member of  their  respective  chamber  with  any  reports
   issued to them

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 6 of the legislative law is amended by adding a new
 subdivision 9 to read as follows:
   9. WHENEVER THE TEMPORARY PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE IS ISSUED  A  REPORT
 FROM  ANY  AGENCY,  AUTHORITY,  BOARD,  BUREAU, COMMISSION, CORPORATION,
 DEPARTMENT, DIVISION, OFFICE OR TASK FORCE OR ANY OTHER  SUBDIVISION  OF
 THE  STATE  OR  FEDERAL  GOVERNMENT  OR  A COUNTY, CITY, TOWN OR VILLAGE
 GOVERNMENT WITHIN THE STATE, THE TEMPORARY PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE SHALL
 ELECTRONICALLY DISTRIBUTE SUCH REPORT TO EACH MEMBER OF THE SENATE.
   § 2. Section 7 of the legislative law  is  amended  by  adding  a  new
 undesignated paragraph to read as follows:
   WHENEVER THE SPEAKER OF THE ASSEMBLY IS ISSUED A REPORT FROM ANY AGEN-
 CY, AUTHORITY, BOARD, BUREAU, COMMISSION, CORPORATION, DEPARTMENT, DIVI-
 SION,  OFFICE  OR  TASK  FORCE  OR ANY OTHER SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OR
 FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OR A COUNTY, CITY, TOWN OR VILLAGE GOVERNMENT  WITHIN
 THE  STATE,  THE SPEAKER OF THE ASSEMBLY SHALL ELECTRONICALLY DISTRIBUTE
 SUCH REPORT TO EACH MEMBER OF THE ASSEMBLY.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
