 AN ACT to amend chapter 218 of the laws of 2009  amending  the  tax  law
   relating  to  authorizing the county of Greene to impose an additional
   mortgage recording tax, in relation  to  extending  the  effectiveness
   thereof

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 218 of the laws of 2009  amending  the
 tax  law relating to authorizing the county of Greene to impose an addi-
 tional mortgage recording tax, as amended by section  1  of  item  L  of
 subpart  E  of part XXX of chapter 58 of the laws of 2020, is amended to
 read as follows:
   § 2. This act shall take effect on the sixtieth  day  after  it  shall
 have  become  a  law and shall expire and be deemed repealed December 1,
 [2023] 2026.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
