BARRETT -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Ways and Means AN ACT to repeal paragraph 2 of subsection (e-1) of section 606 of the tax law relating to the effect of the volunteer firefighters' and ambulance workers' property tax credit on the volunteer firefighters' and ambulance workers' income tax credit THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph 2 of subsection (e-1) of section 606 of the tax law is REPEALED. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall apply to taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2024. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD09958-01-3
