 AN  ACT to amend the education law, in relation to the practice of phar-
   macy and administration of immunizations
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1.  Section  6801 of the education law is amended by adding a
 new subdivision 4-a to read as follows:
   4-A. A LICENSED PHARMACIST MAY  ADMINISTER  IMMUNIZATIONS  TO  PREVENT
 INFLUENZA TO A PERSON NINE YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
