S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 9375 I N A S S E M B L Y March 6, 2024 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. DiPIETRO -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Ways and Means AN ACT in relation to funding for the state office for the aging THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The sum of four hundred million dollars ($400,000,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated to the office for the aging out of any moneys in the state treasury in the general fund, and made immediately available for the programs and services of the state office for the aging. Such moneys shall be payable on the audit and warrant of the comptroller on vouchers certified or approved by the director of the state office for the aging in the manner prescribed by law. ยง 2. This act shall take effect April 1, 2024. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14699-01-4
