CONCURRENT RESOLUTION OF THE SENATE AND ASSEMBLY
providing for the election of three Regents of the
University of the State of New York
WHEREAS, The current term of the Regent of the University of the
State of New York elected from the seventh Judicial District is vacant
due to resignation; and
WHEREAS, The terms of the Regents of the University of the State of
New York elected from the eleventh and twelfth Judicial Districts expire
on the thirty-first day of March in the year two thousand twenty-three;
and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That pursuant to the provisions of
section 202 of the education law, the vacancies created by the
expiration of these terms and for other cause are hereby filled by
concurrent resolution; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Adrian I. Hale of the county
of Monroe be elected Regent of the University of the State of New York
from the seventh Judicial District for a term of four years commencing
immediately; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Judith J. Chin of the county
of Queens be re-elected Regent of the University of the State of New
York from the eleventh Judicial District for a term of five years
commencing on the first day of April in the year two thousand
twenty-three; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Dr. Aramina Vega Ferrer of
the county of Bronx be re-elected Regent of the University of the State
of New York from the twelfth Judicial District for a term of five years
commencing on the first day of April in the year two thousand
twenty-three.
