Senate Resolution No. 2453

CONGRATULATING Hunter Gonzalez-Cadillo upon the
occasion of being named the 2024 Youth of the Year
by the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor the youth
of today, and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and achievements best
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
Nation; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Hunter Gonzalez-Cadillo upon the occasion of being named
the 2024 Youth of the Year by the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club, to
be celebrated on Tuesday, May 21, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Each year since 1947, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has
selected members for this honor who embody the values of leadership,
community service, academic excellence and good character; Hunter
Gonzalez-Cadillo truly exemplifies those qualities; and

WHEREAS, Hunter Gonzalez-Cadillo has greatly benefited from the
Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club which has enabled him to reach his
full potential as a productive, caring, responsible citizen; and

WHEREAS, As a proud member of the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club,
Hunter Gonzalez-Cadillo and his peers have been involved in numerous
local projects which have made his community a better place to live,
grow and work; and

WHEREAS, A young man of singular distinction, Hunter
Gonzalez-Cadillo has distinguished himself as a young man of superlative
ability, establishing a high standard of excellence and purposefulness
of life rarely achieved in youthful years; and

WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose, this
fine young gentleman now stands honorably, with just pride in his
accomplishments and in eager anticipation of future challenges,
understanding and appreciating the caring counsel and support provided
by the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club and his family; now, therefore,
be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Hunter Gonzalez-Cadillo upon the occasion of being named
the 2024 Youth of the Year by the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club; and
be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Hunter Gonzalez-Cadillo.
