LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Frank
Borelli, Jr. upon the occasion of his retirement as
Town Councilman in Clarkstown, New York, after 16
years of dedicated service to the residents of the
Town of Clarkstown and the County of Rockland

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body, in keeping with
its time-honored traditions, to recognize and pay tribute to those who
have served to better the quality of life in our communities and have
had a measurable positive impact on the lives of its residents; Frank
Borelli, Jr. is one such individual; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Frank Borelli, Jr. upon the occasion of his retirement as
Town Councilman in Clarkstown, New York, after 16 years of dedicated
service to the residents of the Town of Clarkstown and the County of
Rockland; and

WHEREAS, Since 2007, Frank Borelli, Jr. has served as an elected
official for the Town of Clarkstown, holding the positions of Town
Councilman and Deputy Supervisor until his retirement in 2023; and

WHEREAS, In addition to his work with the Town, Frank Borelli, Jr.
held leadership roles in many worthy organizations including Leadership
Rockland, New City Rotary, JCC of Rockland, Catholic School Region of
Rockland, Manhattan Society of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society,
St. Thomas Aquinas Presidents Council, Nyack Hospital Foundation,
Rockland Community Foundation, March of Dimes of Rockland, Police Chiefs
Foundation of Rockland, and the United Way of Rockland; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Town Councilman Frank Borelli, Jr. upon the occasion of his
retirement, after years of distinguished service to the residents of the
Town of Clarkstown and the County of Rockland, and to wish him well in
all of his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Frank Borelli, Jr.
