COMMENDING the Clarence Chamber of Commerce upon
the occasion of hosting its 50th Anniversary Awards
Gala on March 9, 2023
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those organizations which substantially contribute to
the economic vitality of their communities and the entire Empire State;
and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend the Clarence Chamber of Commerce upon the occasion of hosting
its 50th Anniversary Awards Gala on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Samuel's
Grande Manor, Clarence, New York; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1954, the Clarence Chamber of Commerce is a
dynamic organization dedicated to fostering the growth of business and
the community through marketing support, educational enrichment,
business mentoring and networking opportunities; and
WHEREAS, The Clarence Chamber of Commerce consistently works to
offer top-quality services and new opportunities for its members, and
advance the local community through outstanding promotion, support and
advocacy as the area's leading economic development organization; and
WHEREAS, For nearly seven decades, this vital organization has
served to encourage and support new businesses and professional
opportunities, facilitate new partnerships, and promote the growth of
current businesses in the community; and
WHEREAS, The Clarence Chamber of Commerce is comprised of members of
the community and local business leaders working together to support
economic growth and prosperity; and
WHEREAS, Through offering an exchange of ideas, as well as education
and advocacy on behalf of its members, the Clarence Chamber of Commerce
has fostered the growth and well-being of its membership, and has
enhanced the quality of life in Erie County; and
WHEREAS, The Clarence Chamber of Commerce also endorses a buying
local campaign, and provides scholarships to students and donations to
various organizations and businesses; and
WHEREAS, A solid cornerstone of its community, the Clarence Chamber
of Commerce will continue to serve as the leading resource sought by the
public for information about tourism, local events, and business
education for many years to come; and
WHEREAS, Over its distinguished history, the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce has demonstrated continuous service to the residents and
communities which it serves; and
WHEREAS, The success of the Clarence Chamber of Commerce is in
direct correlation to the efforts of its Board of Directors, Executive
Board, and its members, whose involvement is, and always has been,
characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and
an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the organization and the community it serves; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional organization and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling success it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Clarence Chamber of Commerce upon the occasion of hosting
its 50th Anniversary Awards Gala on March 9, 2023; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Clarence Chamber of Commerce.
