AMENDING Senate Resolution R2858 of 2022
establishing a plan setting forth an itemized list
of grantees for certain appropriations for the
2022-23 state fiscal year for the Division of
Criminal Justice Services and Office for the
Prevention of Domestic Violence for additional
expenses and services providing community safety and
restorative justice
RESOLVED, That pursuant to and as required by moneys appropriated
in section 1 of chapter 53 of the laws of 2022 which enacts the aid to
localities budget, local assistance account, for grants for local
government agencies and/or not-for-profit service providers or their
employees providing community safety and restorative justice programs
that can offer support for: survivors of sexual assault, domestic
violence, gun violence, legal services, alternatives to incarceration,
pre-trial services, probation and community supervision services. Such
plan shall be subject to the approval of the temporary president of
the senate and the director of the budget and thereafter shall be
included in a resolution calling for the expenditure of such monies,
which resolution must be approved by a majority vote of all members
elected to the senate upon a roll call vote, in accordance with the
following schedule and as adopted by Senate Resolution R2858 of 2022:

outreach, anti-violence shooting/violence reduction and intervention
programs managed by local governments and/or community-based
not-for-profit service providers. Such funds shall be apportioned
pursuant to a plan setting forth an itemized list of grantees with the
amount to be received by each, or the methodology for allocating such
appropriation. Such plan shall be subject to the approval of the
temporary president of the senate and the director of the budget and
thereafter shall be included in a resolution calling for the
expenditure of such monies, which resolution must be approved by a
majority vote of all members elected to the senate upon a roll call
vote, in accordance with the following schedule:
