BILL NUMBER: S1264 SPONSOR: BORRELLO TITLE OF BILL: An act to prohibit a government entity from requiring individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine PURPOSE: The purpose of this bill is to prohibit a government entity from requir- ing individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Section 1. No individual shall be required to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately. JUSTIFICATION: Vaccines are a choice and no one should ever be forced to be vaccinated.

BORRELLO, LANZA, MATTERA, OBERACKER, WEIK -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Health AN ACT to prohibit a government entity from requiring individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, regulation or executive order to the contrary, no state or local government entity, or its political subdivisions, agents, or assigns, shall be permitted to require any individual to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. § 2.
