Please think seriously about appointing a parent who lost a child to rural suicide. There is not a single member mentioned in the proposed bill that has more experience going through the good, bad, and ugly of our fractured Mental Health System than a parent who fought for services and cares for their loved one only to lose them to suicide. They, too, also want through the pain, suffering, various treatments, and hardships that their son/daughter went through prior to their death. In other words, there is no one who has seen the "whole picture" more than a parent who lost a child to suicide. Please consider having them on this committee.
Thank you
Joe Tobia
