 Introduced  by  Sen. PALUMBO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when

 AN  ACT  to amend the public authorities law, in relation to authorizing
   the dormitory authority to provide financing  to  the  Shelter  Island
   Public Library Society

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision  2  of  section  1676  of  the
 public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph
 to read as follows:
   SHELTER  ISLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY SOCIETY AT 37 NORTH FERRY ROAD, SHELTER
 ISLAND, NEW YORK FOR  THE  RENOVATION  AND  EXPANSION  OF  THE  EXISTING
 LIBRARY BUILDING LOCATED AT SUCH ADDRESS.
   §  2.  Subdivision  1 of section 1680 of the public authorities law is
 amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows:
   SHELTER ISLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY SOCIETY AT 37 NORTH FERRY ROAD,  SHELTER
 ISLAND,  NEW  YORK  FOR  THE  RENOVATION  AND  EXPANSION OF THE EXISTING
 LIBRARY BUILDING LOCATED AT SUCH ADDRESS.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.

   Section 1. Section 5 of chapter 672 of the laws of 1993, amending  the
 public  authorities  law  relating  to the construction and financing of
 facilities for certain public libraries, is  amended  by  adding  a  new
 subdivision 55 to read as follows:
   55. SHELTER ISLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY.
