BILL NUMBER: S5042 SPONSOR: LANZA TITLE OF BILL: An act to rename the Oakwood Beach wetland the Oakwood Beach-Detective Russel Timoshenko Preserve PURPOSE: Renames the Oakwood Beach wetland the Oakwood Beach-Detective Russel Timoshenko preserve. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1: The area managed by the department of environmental conserva- tion known as Oakwood Beach wetland, located in Richmond county, shall after the effective date of this act be known as the Oakwood Beach-De- tective Russel Timoshenko preserve and shall be suitably marked in a manner prescribed by the commissioner of environmental conservation. LANZA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to rename the Oakwood Beach wetland the Oakwood Beach-Detective Russel Timoshenko Preserve THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The area managed by the department of environmental conser- vation known as Oakwood Beach wetland, located in Richmond county, shall after the effective date of this act be known as the Oakwood Beach-De- tective Russel Timoshenko Preserve and shall be suitably marked in a manner prescribed by the commissioner of environmental conservation. § 2.
