 Introduced  by  Sen.  COMRIE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation
 
 AN ACT to require the metropolitan transportation authority to  hold  an
   annual public seminar on new innovations
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The metropolitan transportation  authority  shall  hold  an
 annual  public  seminar  program  on a topic relating to new innovations
 that provide opportunities to discover new and emerging methods as  such
 relate  to  the purpose of the authority pursuant to section 1264 of the
 public authorities law. The metropolitan transportation authority  shall
 determine  the  topic  for  each annual seminar and shall find qualified
 presenters to present educational lectures  on  such  topic  to  seminar
 attendees.
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
 have become a law.
