 IN  SENATE  -- A REDISTRICTING BILL, submitted by the Independent Redis-
   tricting Commission pursuant to article three of  the  Consitution  --
   read  twice  and  ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to
   the Committee on Rules
 
 IN ASSEMBLY -- A REDISTRICTING BILL, submitted by the Independent Redis-
   tricting Commission pursuant to article three of  the  Consitution  --
   read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations
 
 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  state law, in relation to establishing assembly
   districts; and to repeal title I of article 8  of  such  law  relating
   thereto
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Title I of article 8 of the state law is REPEALED and a new
 title I is added to read as follows:
                                  TITLE I
                            ASSEMBLY DISTRICTS
 SECTION 120. NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE ASSEMBLY.
         121. ASSEMBLY DISTRICTS.
         122. SEPARABILITY OF ASSEMBLY DISTRICTS.
   § 120. NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE ASSEMBLY. THE ASSEMBLY  SHALL  CONSIST
 OF  ONE HUNDRED FIFTY MEMBERS CHOSEN FROM THE DISTRICTS DESCRIBED WITHIN
 AND APPORTIONED AMONG THE COUNTIES ON THE BASIS OF THE NUMBER OF  INHAB-
 ITANTS  OF THE STATE BASED ON THE FEDERAL CENSUS OF TWO THOUSAND TWENTY,
 AS ADJUSTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF PART XX OF CHAPTER FIFTY-SEVEN
 OF THE LAWS OF TWO THOUSAND TEN, AS AMENDED.
   § 121. ASSEMBLY DISTRICTS. THE ASSEMBLY  DISTRICTS  SHALL  CONSIST  AS
 FOLLOWS:
   1. ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 1.
   WITHIN SUFFOLK COUNTY
   ALL OF EAST HAMPTON TOWN
