 Introduced  by  Sen. ADDABBO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Crime Victims,  Crime  and
   Correction
 
 AN  ACT  to amend the correction law, in relation to limited credit time
   allowances
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subparagraph  (xii)  of paragraph (c) of subdivision 1 of
 section 803-b of the correction law, as amended by chapter  322  of  the
 laws  of 2021, is amended and a new subparagraph (xiii) is added to read
 as follows:
   (xii) receives a certificate from the food  production  center  in  an
 assigned position following the completion of no less than eight hundred
 hours  of work in such position, and continues to work for an additional
 eighteen months at the food production center[.]; OR
   (XIII) SUCCESSFULLY WORKS IN THE HORSE HANDLING PROGRAM FOR  A  PERIOD
 OF  NO  LESS  THAN EIGHTEEN MONTHS AND RECEIVES A CERTIFICATION FROM THE
 GROOM ELITE PROGRAM.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
