This is an attempt to ban the sale of arms in common use for lawful purposes, already specifically addressed by the Supreme Court in Heller v. DC. There are already laws against making machine guns or altering firearms to become machine guns. As such, this is a blatant attempt a ban on an entire class of firearms employed by millions of Americans for lawful purposes, including self defense. Stop violating our rights through actions that are already addressed through other legislation. You are purposefully attempting to ban the most popular weapons in use for lawful purposes through this legislation. Disgusting behavior that I guarantee will have a successful challenge, even in the 2nd circuit.
