WALCZYK -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to including federal law enforcement officers in the definition of police officer THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 34 of section 1.20 of the criminal procedure law is amended by adding a new paragraph (w) to read as follows: (W) A PERSON WHO IS A FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER LISTED UNDER SECTION 2.15 OF THIS TITLE. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13558-01-3
