 AN  ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to enacting the
   "Seneca county water and sewer authority act"
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Article  5  of  the  public authorities law is amended by
 adding a new title 6-E to read as follows:
                                 TITLE 6-E
                  SENECA COUNTY WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY
 SECTION 1149.   SHORT TITLE.
         1149-A. DEFINITIONS.
         1149-B. SENECA COUNTY WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY DISTRICT.
         1149-C. SENECA COUNTY WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY.
         1149-D. POWERS OF THE AUTHORITY.
         1149-E. ADVANCES ON BEHALF OF THE AUTHORITY; TRANSFER OF PROPER-
                   TY TO THE AUTHORITY; ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY BY COUNTY
                   FOR THE AUTHORITY.
         1149-F. TRANSFER OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES.
         1149-G. BONDS OF THE AUTHORITY.
         1149-H. REMEDIES OF BONDHOLDERS.
         1149-I. STATE AND MUNICIPALITIES NOT LIABLE ON AUTHORITY BONDS.
         1149-J. MONEYS OF THE AUTHORITY.
         1149-K. BONDS LEGAL INVESTMENTS FOR FIDUCIARIES.
         1149-L. AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE.
         1149-M. EXEMPTION FROM  TAXES,  ASSESSMENTS  AND  CERTAIN  FEES;
                   PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF TAXES.
         1149-N. ACTIONS AGAINST THE AUTHORITY.
         1149-O. INTEREST IN CONTRACTS PROHIBITED.
         1149-P. CONSTRUCTION AND PURCHASE CONTRACTS.
         1149-Q. AUTHORITY TO TAKE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.
         1149-R. AUDIT AND ANNUAL REPORT.
